WHY THE CHANGE

  • Why will the C&C App no longer be available?

New ADA Title II Web and Mobile Accessibility Requirements will take effect during the 2025-2026 school year. While we currently do not have the resources to rebuild the C&C App to align with these requirements, we are fully committed to achieving ADA compliance with all of our other products and services. Student Information Systems have surpassed the C&C App in functionality for data entry and reporting. We are refocusing our expertise on providing technical assistance and resources to help sites build strong implementations using their existing tools. 


ACTIVE C&C APP SUBSCRIPTIONS

  • How will this impact the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year?

C&C App subscriptions will remain unchanged for the 2024-2025 school year. Subscribers should continue using the C&C App to gather "Check" and "Connect" data. In Spring 2025, C&C App users will be reminded to export historical data before subscriptions expire on June 30, 2025.

  • How should I plan to gather data for the 2025-2026 school year?

An Excel monitoring form is available for all Check & Connect training participants (e.g., Self-Paced Online training from the Check & Connect National Office and onsite training provided by national or locally certified Check & Connect trainers).  New monitoring tools will be available for Check & Connect training participants prior to the 2025-2026 school year. 

  • How do I access historical data once my C&C App subscription expires?

You will be able to download historical data for active students. In Spring 2025, we will notify all C&C App Admins through pop-up messages and provide step-by-step instructions for exporting your data to an Excel file.

  • How will users be notified of this change?

All C&C App Admin will receive email communication detailing the discontinuation of the C&C App. Within the C&C App, pop-up and banner messages will inform users of this change. 

  • When will the C&C App officially expire?

The C&C App will no longer be accessible to users, and all data will be deleted on June 30th, 2025.

  • Will the C&C App be available for the 2025-2026 school year?

No, the C&C App will no longer be available or accessible as of June 30th, 2025.

  • How do I renew our C&C App subscription?

Effective January 2025, C&C App renewals are no longer unavailable.



HISTORICAL C&C APP DATA

  • How do I retain my historical data?

You can export your data by running downloadable Excel reports. For step-by-step instructions, please refer to our How to Export Historical C&C App Data guide.

  • When do I need to export my data?

We recommend that you export your historical data as soon as the 2024-2025 school year ends and must be completed before the C&C App expires on June 30, 2025.

  • Who do I contact for support with exporting my historical data?

C&C DATA DOCUMENTATION TOOLS

  • How will sites document Check & Connect data next year? 

We are developing new monitoring tools to improve data collection processes for C&C mentors, in addition to the Excel monitoring form currently available to all C&C training participants. These new tools will be available to those who have participated in one of our training options from the C&C National Office or a local certified trainer. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of one of our training options if you have not done so in the past. To learn more about our training options, please see C&C Implementation Support.

  • How will I access new monitoring tools?

Once the 2025-2026 school year downloadable resources are released, these new monitoring tools will be available via the C&C resources download folder URL. C&C IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT

  • What Check & Connect implementation training is available for site coordinators?

We recommend site coordinators participate in Preparation & Implementation Training, which provides a comprehensive overview of the intervention and guidance on preparing for effective implementation. Options include:

  • What Check & Connect training is available for mentors?

Mentor Training provides the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively implement the Check & Connect intervention

  • Onsite Mentor Training: A 2-day, in-person training for groups of 10 or more, including 12 hours of training and 5 hours of post-training technical assistance.
  • Self-Paced-Online Mentor Training: Flexible, self-guided training, including videos and engaging reflective activities, that takes 3.5–6 hours to complete.
  • Are there any additional training options? 
    Check & Connect offers a variety of customized technical assistance and professional development packages to support your ongoing implementation. Our team of experts is available to provide support on fidelity assessment and goal setting, sustainability and growth, or other specific needs your site may have to strengthen your implementation.
  • What technical assistance is available to help with data collection?
